At Point 5 Kitchens, we’ve had the privilege of designing and installing some of the most beautiful and functional bespoke kitchens in North London. Every project tells a story — of the home, the people who live there, and how they want their space to feel. From contemporary city apartments to traditional townhouses, our kitchen designs are crafted to elevate each home’s character while making everyday life that little bit easier.
In this feature, we’re taking a look back at some of our favourite kitchen projects across North London. Each one is unique, yet they all share the hallmarks of our design philosophy: thoughtful planning, exceptional craftsmanship, and timeless style.
A Modern Family Kitchen in Muswell Hill
One of our most loved projects is a bright and open family kitchen project in Muswell Hill. The homeowners wanted a space that brought everyone together — a true heart of the home. The brief was simple: create a functional family kitchen that felt modern, social, and easy to maintain.
We designed a spacious open-plan layout with a large central island that doubles as a breakfast bar and prep zone. Matte white cabinetry contrasts beautifully with the soft oak accents, while integrated appliances keep the look sleek and uncluttered. The quartz worktops provide both durability and understated luxury.
A hidden pantry wall offers clever storage for dry goods, small appliances, and glassware — maintaining a clean, minimalist appearance. Large bi-fold doors flood the room with natural light, connecting the kitchen to the garden for seamless indoor-outdoor living.
This project perfectly captures what we love most about designing bespoke kitchens in North London: spaces that are both beautiful and built for real life.

Industrial Chic in Crouch End
For this stylish Crouch End kitchen project, the clients wanted something bold and urban, reflecting the industrial charm of their converted warehouse apartment. We embraced the raw aesthetic, pairing dark-toned cabinetry with brushed steel finishes and exposed brickwork.
To balance the darker palette, we introduced warm oak shelving and accent lighting to create depth and atmosphere. The island became the focal point — featuring a contrasting concrete-effect worktop and bar seating that invites social interaction.
This project was all about texture and tone: matte finishes meet rough surfaces, and clean lines meet industrial character. The result is a kitchen that feels modern, edgy, and completely unique.
Classic Elegance in Highgate
Highgate homes often blend period architecture with modern living, and this classic-meets-contemporary kitchen is a perfect example. The homeowners wanted a timeless design that respected the property’s heritage while incorporating all the conveniences of a modern kitchen.
We opted for a bespoke shaker-style kitchen in a soft, heritage green, complemented by polished brass handles and marble-effect quartz worktops. The traditional detailing — from the cornices to the inset panels — pays homage to classic design, while the integrated lighting and high-spec appliances bring a touch of modern sophistication.
The space was originally narrow and enclosed, but by reconfiguring the layout, we created a lighter, more open flow that connects seamlessly with the dining area. It’s now a room that feels warm, inviting, and perfectly balanced — a true reflection of elegant North London living.
A Compact Gem in Islington
Not every kitchen needs vast square footage to make an impact. One of our favourite small-space transformations took place in a charming Islington townhouse, where every inch had to work hard. The client wanted a kitchen that maximised space without compromising on design.
We created a bespoke galley-style kitchen with handleless cabinetry in soft grey, mirrored splashbacks to reflect light, and floor-to-ceiling storage to eliminate clutter. Smart organisation systems were built into every drawer, from spice racks to pull-out bins, making the kitchen not only stylish but effortlessly functional.
By choosing light-reflective materials and clever lighting design, we turned what was once a cramped, dark space into a bright, airy kitchen that feels double its size. It’s a testament to how bespoke kitchen design can transform even the most compact spaces into something extraordinary.

Luxury Minimalism in Hampstead
Our Hampstead project is all about quiet luxury — clean lines, calm tones, and exceptional craftsmanship. The clients envisioned a minimalist kitchen that exuded elegance without feeling cold or impersonal.
We selected handleless cabinets in a soft taupe finish, paired with porcelain worktops that flow seamlessly into the backsplash. The large island, complete with waterfall edges, anchors the room and provides a focal point for cooking and entertaining.
Lighting played a key role in this design. Discreet LED strips illuminate the counters, while pendant lighting adds warmth and sophistication. Every element — from the hidden storage to the integrated wine cooler — is designed for comfort and style.
The result is a serene, modern kitchen that reflects the understated luxury typical of Hampstead homes and showcases our dedication to meticulous detail.
